Guests in a hotel bar or lounge value a semi-private seat, but building alcoves means construction work and approvals. The Canopy Alcove creates the effect as furniture: a 54 in (137 cm) high upholstered back, two oak posts and a 2.4 in (6 cm) oak canopy at about 82.5 in (210 cm) above the floor, projecting about 23.5 in (60 cm) over the seat.
A concealed LED strip in the underside of the canopy casts a pool of light over the seat, giving each alcove its own atmosphere independent of the room lighting.
Construction
- Hardwood frame with oak posts and canopy, fixed to wall or floor
- Channel-upholstered back; sprung seat
- Low-voltage LED with remote driver
Electrical connection must be made by a licensed local electrician. We provide a fixing and cable detail on the shop drawing.
