A round island banquette is the classic grand-lobby piece: freestanding, approachable from all sides, and visible from the entrance. The Atrium seats about eight guests around a central planter about 23.5 in (60 cm) across, with an oak-trimmed rim.
Three concentric lines of contrast piping trace the seat edge, the back and the planter rim, giving the piece its signature look and a strong graphic presence when viewed from a mezzanine.
Construction
- Segmented hardwood frame built in transportable sections
- Circular back surrounding a lined planter well
- Bouclé shown with contrast piping
- Recessed plinth
The planter is lined for real or artificial plants; confirm drainage and maintenance with your landscape contractor. A sculpture plinth or lamp can replace the planter.
