This stool takes the rounded back and piping of our dining chairs to bar height, so a hotel bar matches its restaurant. The seat is 30 in (76 cm) high for a 42 in (107 cm) bar, with a 24 in (61 cm) counter version.
Splayed black-steel legs with cross stretchers give a stable footprint, and the brass foot ring sits about 8.5 in (22 cm) off the floor. Its ends are set into the leg tubes rather than clamped around them, so it stays put. A small open gap between the back and seat doubles as a hand-hold.
