Settees fill the spaces a lobby always has: too short for a sofa, too important for two loose chairs. The Arc is shaped from one continuous curve, about 43 in (110 cm) in radius on plan, so its back wraps around both sitters and the piece reads as a single sculptural form from every angle.
A brushed-brass capping runs along the top of the back and follows the curve without a joint. The seat is one full-length cushion, so there is no gap in the middle, and the settee sits on a recessed light-oak plinth.
